Amsterdam
In May 2015, I visited Amsterdam for the first time on a multi-country eEurotrip with my dad (check the Barcelona page for info on our time in Spain). Amsterdam reminded me a lot of where I grew up: Portland, Oregon. It's very liberal, there are lots of trees, people ride bikes everywhere, and are generally very friendly. Below, you can see the video of this trip, some of my favorite hotels, sights, and restaurants within the city.

Amsterdam Marriott
The redemption:
We redeemed 160,000 Marriott points for our four night stay here. We had the option to stay a fifth night for free (Marriott gives you the fifth night free when redeeming points for stays of four nights or longer), but our schedule didn't permit. This was a great hotel in a really amazing location and with very nice staff. I didn't take many photos but the lounge was nice and the standard room was a bit small, but got the job done.
