On August 21st, 2017 the moon moved into perfect alignment with the sun and passed over the entire continental United States in this configuration, a phenomenon that was referred to as The Great American Eclipse. We were in Jackson on production with EXP Journeys on behalf of one of their clients and this is a little behind the scenes look at what we saw!
Last week I was given a mission: Covertly fly into Manzanillo, Mexico and surprise my sister. Well, Mission: Accomplished. As you can see in the video, her expression was priceless. After the surprise set in, I enjoyed exploring this awesome destination while capturing some great new content. I threw together another travel edit featuring the whole experience, enjoy don't forget to follow on Instagram for more content and behind the scenes from these kinds of adventures!
I will get more photos up soon, check out my Instagram for more!
In Cambodia, we met an amazing 66 year old man who spends his days climbing palm trees in flip flops to gather juice from the palm fruit. He was probably one of the happiest people I have ever met and he agreed to take us on his journey above the jungle canopy! If you haven't seen the video of the full trip, click here and let me know what you think!
In January, I visited Vietnam and Cambodia on the trip of a lifetime. It was also my first time in the entire, gigantic continent of Asia and it was absolutely eye-opening, so naturally I had to make a video.
We took a boat from Southern Vietnam to Central Cambodia via the Mekong river stopping at a number of towns, villages, temples, and restaurants that served tarantula, which I ate. It was awesome to be fully immersed in a completely different culture and to have a bunch of takeaways that now influence my day to day life back home.
Each night I worked on this project I was being constantly reminded of the magic of traveling and how it can so quickly and easily change you for the better. There’s just nothing quite like going to a foreign culture and trying to understand it in contrast to your own. My biggest hope is that every good person has the opportunity to do that whenever and wherever they please.
Please give the video a watch in brilliant 4k and let me know what you think!
